High School Musical: The Concert was a concert tour performed by members of the cast of the popular television film series, '' High School Musical'', sponsored by AEG Live and presented by Buena Vista Concerts. The concert toured cities in the United States, Canada and Latin America. ''High School Musical: The Concert'' expanded the Disney Channel franchise that had previously produced a triple-platinum selling soundtrack and had planned a movie sequel. ( Disney had recently scored a success with another concert based on a TV musical by The Cheetah Girls, who had a sold-out tour in 88 cities) The films' original cast members Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman took part in the tour, except for Zac Efron, who had a previous engagement filming '' Hairspray'' and was replaced by Drew Seeley, who was Efron's singing voice in the first film. Vanessa Anne Hudgens (; born December 14, 1988) is an American actress and singer. The Party's Just Begun Tour is the second tour by American girl group, The Cheetah Girls. It supported the soundtrack to their second film, ''The Cheetah Girls 2''. The tour started on September 15, 2006, in Seattle and ended on March 4, 2007, in Houston. The concerts in Anaheim and San Diego were recorded and released as '' In Concert: The Party's Just Begun Tour''. Background The tour was originally going to be 40 cities stated by Sabrina Bryan on ''Live with Regis and Kelly'', then 58 cities, but the final date transition was an 86 date tour. For the final date on the tour the Cheetah Girls performed at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo with Miley Cyrus as the opening act. The show sold 73,291 becoming one of the biggest concert of the event's history. Charles Klapow
Charles "Chucky" Klapow (born July 5, 1980) is an American choreographer and dance instructor who has performed and choreographed for various performers and several television and stage productions. He is also known for his teachings on the mental approach to dance. Klapow's mother is Filipino, and his father is European-American. Life and career Klapow began his dancing career aged 12, dancing for Patti LaBelle, Celine Dion, Sheila E., Salt-N-Pepa, Melissa Etheridge, and others in an all-star concert for the Pediatric AIDS Foundation. This included a dancing spot in the Paula Abdul music video "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah". By the time he was 15, Charles was an assistant to Choreography, choreographer and mentor Marguerite Derricks.
