High Evolutionary (Marvel Cinematic Universe)
The High Evolutionary (Herbert Edgar Wyndham) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is depicted as a scientist who seeks to evolve different life forms such as the New Men. The High Evolutionary's goals have often put him at odds with different superheroes. Chukwudi Iwuji portrayed the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film ''Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'' (2023). Publication history The High Evolutionary was first mentioned in '' The Mighty Thor'' #133 (Oct. 1966), first appears in ''The Mighty Thor'' #134 (Nov. 1966), and was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Conquest is the act of military subjugation of an enemy by force of arms. Military history provides many examples of conquest: the Roman conquest of Gaul, the Mauryan conquest of Afghanistan and of vast areas of the Indian subcontinent, the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire and various Arab conquests, all of which were successful in bringing foreign states under the conquerors' control. These conquests provided great wealth, power and prestige for the conquerors, a key motivation in the expenditure of resources required to conquer in the first place.
