Hiding (TV Series)
''Hiding'' is an Australian television drama series which screened on ABC1 from 5 February 2015. The eight-part series follows a Gold Coast family in witness protection who must build a new life in a strange city, Sydney. It is created by Matt Ford and directed by Shawn Seet, Tori Garrett and Grant Brown. Synopsis After a botched drug deal, Troy (James Stewart) must take his family into Witness Protection in exchange for giving evidence against his former employer, vicious crime boss Nils Vandenberg (Marcus Graham). With new names and fresh identities, the Quigg family is ripped from their home on the sun-drenched Gold Coast and dumped in a safe house in Western Sydney as the Swift Family. Olivia DeJonge (; born 30 April 1998) is an Australian actress, known for playing Tara Swift / Shaneen Quigg in ABC1's '' Hiding'', Becca in the film '' The Visit'' (2015), Elle in Netflix's '' The Society'' (2019), and Priscilla Presley in the film ''Elvis'' (2022). Early life DeJonge was born in 1998 in Melbourne, Victoria, the daughter of Robyn and Rob DeJonge, a businessman. She moved to Perth, Western Australia with her parents at the age of five, where she grew up in Peppermint Grove. She has studied at the Presbyterian Ladies' College, Perth. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) is the national broadcaster of Australia. It is principally funded by direct grants from the Australian Government and is administered by a government-appointed board. Natasha Elisabeth Beaumont (born 21 June 1974) is a Malaysian-born British-Australian actress and model. Beaumont was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She grew up in Kuala Lumpur, attended boarding school in Sydney and moved at age 20 to attend Charles Sturt University in Bathurst, Australia. Kym Gyngell (born 15 April 1952), sometimes also credited as Kim Gyngell, is an Australian comedian and film, television and stage actor. Gyngell won the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 1988 for his role as Ian McKenzie in ''Boulevard of Broken Dreams''.
