Hideout Festival
Hideout Festival is an annual electronic music festival held in Zrce, Croatia on the island of Pag. The first festival was in 2011, and landed on The Guardian's list of the best European festivals of 2011, and since then, has sold out every year to date. The event is split between pool parties in the day and headline performances at night, both of which take place in Zrce's open-air venues along the beach. There's also a number of boat parties that sail from Novalja port out onto the Adriatic In 2016, Hideout Festival took place from Sunday 26 June until Thursday 30 June. It was the first year that BBC Radio 1 teamed up with the event for a 3-hour broadcast from a live pool party event hosted by Heidi, Monki and B Traits.In 2017 Hideout festival will take place from Monday 26th – Friday 30 June 2017. 5 days and nights, with over 150 artists including MK and Hannah Wants. Andrew John Clarke (born 7 April 1976) is a British DJ and record producer and is co-founder of RAM Records, a pioneering label in the drum and bass genre. Music career Early years Andy C was a DJ in his own right but gained a strong reputation and more bookings off the back of the successful "Valley of the Shadows" track, an early drum and bass track that walked the line perfectly between hardcore and drum and bass just as the genres were starting to split. The track, created and released by Origin Unknown (made up of Andy C and Ant Miles)—often referred to as "31 Seconds" or "Long Dark Tunnel" because of the samples it incorporates—made use of a heavy bassline, bell samples and a rolling drum track to produce a popular, easy to recognise track that was easy to mix and became a favourite in dance floors at raves across the UK and beyond. Daley Padley, also known as Hot Since 82, is a British DJ, house music producer and DJ Awards winner currently based in Leeds, UK. He has been releasing music under the ''Hot Since 82'' moniker since 2012. Personal life Padley entered the electronic music scene at a young age, beginning to frequent area nightclubs at the age of 14. His DJ education started at 17, playing 12–13-hour sets each Sunday at a club in his hometown (under his birth name). His residency soon became a top afterparty destination for clubbers in the area. As word got around, Padley's notoriety increased, resulting in a 2006 residency at Cream Ibiza in Amnesia under the banner of Leeds club Glasshouse. Daniel Pearce, better known as Eats Everything, is an English DJ and record producer. He came to prominence in 2011 with the release of "Entrance Song" on Pets Recordings. Gorgon City are an English electronic music production duo consisting of two North London producers Kye "Foamo" Gibbon and Matt "RackNRuin" Robson-Scott. Alexander Paul Coe (born 4 September 1969), known professionally as Sasha, is a Welsh DJ and record producer. He is best known for his live events and electronic music as a solo artist, as well as his collaborations with British DJ John Digweed as Sasha & John Digweed. Rudimental are a British drum and bass band, signed to Asylum Records, Atlantic Records and Black Butter Records. The band consists of Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden and Leon "Locksmith" Rolle. Modeselektor
Modeselektor is a German electronic music duo consisting of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary. History The group members met in 1992 in Berlin with group member Szary performing live acid house music at illegal underground parties, under the moniker Fundamental Knowledge. The group says, "After the Wall came down, everywhere in Germany and especially East Germany there was a lot of chaos, anarchy."
