Hidde Jurjus
Hidde Jurjus (born 9 February 1994) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Groningen. Club career Early life After playing local side Longa '30, Hidde Jurjus joined the youth academy of De Graafschap in 2002, aged eight. From there he climbed through the ranks of the youth academy and was chosen as the 4th goalkeeper of the senior squad in the 2013-2014 season. De Graafschap The following season (2014-2015), manager Jan Vreman named Jurjus first goalkeeper, and he made his senior debut on 8 August 2014 against FC Emmen in the Jupiler League. After the first half, he got injured, and he was subbed off for Jasper Heusinkveld. On 28 October 2014 he recovered from his back injury and played his second game for De Graafschap. During the season, he would establish himself as the 1st goalkeeper and they ended on the 6th position in the Eerste Divisie. FC Groningen
Football Club Groningen () is a Dutch professional association football club based in Groningen, province of Groningen. Founded on 16 June 1971 as the successor of GVAV, the team compete in the Eredivisie, the highest tier of Dutch football. Groningen played their inaugural season in the Eredivisie, before the side were relegated to the Eerste Divisie in 1973–74 as they got into financial difficulties. Groningen were promoted back to the Eredivisie as champions in 1979–80 and remained in the top flight for almost 20 seasons before they dropped to the second tier in 1997–98. Sportclub Heerenveen (; West Frisian: Sportklub It Hearrenfean) is a Dutch football club from Heerenveen. They currently play in the Eredivisie, the top level of football in the Netherlands. History Sportclub Heerenveen was founded on 20 July 1920 in the town of Heerenveen, Friesland, as Athleta. It changed name twice, first to Spartaan and then to v.v. Heerenveen in 1922. While the Netherlands was occupied by Germany, Heerenveen won three successive North of the Netherlands championships, and following the end of World War II it went on to win the same title six times in a row; the club's dominance partly ascribed to the presence of Abe Lenstra. During this period, Lenstra led Heerenveen to a famous victory over Ajax in one of the most noted games in Dutch domestic football history.
