Hi-Fi Centar was a record label based in Belgrade, Serbia. The company was originally formed in 1987 as a music store and was originally named Audio Klub Centar. In 1993 it changed the name to Hi-Fi Centar and moved to record publishing. During the 1990s it reissued albums by Atheist Rap, Bijelo Dugme, Parni Valjak, Prljavo Kazalište, YU Grupa, and others, and during the late 1990s and early 2000s it released albums by the top acts of the Serbian rock scene, such as Đorđe Balašević, Neverne Bebe, Partibrejkers, Riblja Čorba, Van Gogh, and others. Riblja Čorba ( sr-Cyrl, Рибља Чорба, pronounced ; translation: lit. ''Fish Stew'') is a Serbian and former Yugoslav rock band formed in Belgrade in 1978. The band was one of the most popular and most influential acts of the Yugoslav rock scene. Riblja Čorba was formed in 1978 by vocalist Bora Đorđević, guitarist Rajko Kojić, bass guitarist Miša Aleksić and drummer Vicko Milatović. Their debut release, the single "Lutka sa naslovne strane" (1978), saw huge success and launched them to fame. Ljiljana Rančić (Serbian Cyrillic: Љиљана Ранчић), known professionally as Madame Piano, is a Serbian retired jazz/ world music singer and songwriter. She was a prominent act on the Serbian music scene in the 1990s and early 2000s, releasing three studio albums before retiring from the scene. Musical career Ljiljana Rančić got her classical music education by learning to play violin. In the early 1990s, she started performing as a jazz singer, having her debut performance as a singer singing with actress Ana Sofrenović. In 1993, she won the first place at the Belgrade Spring Festival with the song "Sanjam" ("I'm Dreaming"). Biljana "Bilja" Krstić (Serbian Cyrillic: Биљана "Биља" Крстић, Serbo-Croatian pronunciation: [bǐʎana bǐːʎa kř̩ːstitɕ]; born 9 November 1955) is a Serbian singer. She was born in 1955 in Niš and brought up on the folk traditions of central Serbia. Biljana first studied music in Niš and continued her education in Belgrade to study music at the Belgrade University of Arts. Upon graduating in Belgrade she set out on an extremely successful career in music. Hari Mata Hari is a Bosnian pop band. Hari Mata Hari is the stage name for the singer Hari Varešanović. The group originated from the city of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Van Gogh is a Serbian and former Yugoslav rock band from Belgrade. The band was formed in 1986, and released their debut alternative rock-oriented self-titled album during the same year. Partibrejkers (Serbian Cyrillic: Партибрејкерс, transliteration for: ''Partybreakers'') is a Serbian rock band from Belgrade, as well as one of the most acclaimed acts of the Yugoslav rock scene.
