Heydar Aliyev Military Lyceum
The Nakhchivan Branch of the Jamshid Nakhchivanski Military Lyceum, Military Lyceum named after Jamshid Nakhchivanski, also known as the Heydar Aliyev Military Lyceum ( az, Heydər Əliyev adına Hərbi Lisey) is a state school, specializing in military science located in the city of Nakhchivan (city), Nakhchivan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Major General Mahammad Hasanov is the current head of the lyceum. Close to 400 cadets currently study in the lyceum branch. History It was established in 1998 by decree of President Heydar Aliyev dated to 13 March and by the order of Defence Minister Safar Abiyev on 9 April. It was officially opened on 13 October 1999. Speaking about the need to establish this institution, Aliyev said that "Historically, young people from Nakhchivan tended to become officers", primarily referencing the "six generals in the army of Tsarist Russia from the Kangarli dynasty". Baku Victory Parade Of 2020
2020 Baku Victory Parade () was held on 10 December, in Azadliq Square, Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. It was held in honor of the Azerbaijani victory during the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, officially described as the Patriotic War in Azerbaijan. The Day of Restoration of Independence ( Azerbaijani: Azərbaycanda Müstəqilliyin Bərpası Günü) is a state holiday in Azerbaijan. It is celebrated annually on October 18.
