Heydar Aliyev
Heydar Alirza oghlu Aliyev ( az, Һејдәр Әлирза оғлу Әлијев, italic=no, Heydər Əlirza oğlu Əliyev, ; , ; 10 May 1923 – 12 December 2003) was a Soviet and Azerbaijani politician who served as the third president of Azerbaijan from October 1993 to October 2003. Originally a high-ranking official in the KGB of the Azerbaijan SSR, serving for 28 years in Soviet state security organs (1941–1969), he led Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982 and held the post of First Deputy Premier of the Soviet Union from 1982 to 1987. Aliyev became president of independent Azerbaijan while the country was on the brink of civil war and suffering serious losses in the First Nagorno-Karabakh War with neighboring Armenia. Aliyev's supporters credit him with restoring stability to Azerbaijan and turning the country into a major international energy producer. Heydar Ghiai
Heydar-Gholi Khan Ghiaï- Chamlou ( fa, حیدرقلی خان غیایی شاملو) was an Iranian architect. He graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts in 1952, and was known as a pioneer of modern architecture in Iran. He designed the Senate House, the Royal Tehran Hilton Hotel, several train stations, cinemas, various civic and government buildings and the first series of state of the art hospitals. In France, he designed the Cité Universitaire aka Avicenne Foundation, amongst others. In 1968, he was nominated architect to the imperial court of Iran and commissioned the vast project of a complex of imperial palaces situated in Farah Abad. As a professor of architecture at the University of Tehran, he taught several generations of architects. Heydar Ghiaï-Chamlou was born in Tehran on 23 October 1922, decisively settled in France later, where he died on 6 September 1985 in Cap d'Antibes. Heydar Yaghma
Heydar Yaghma ( fa, حیدر یغما; 1926 – March 1986) was an Iranian poet. He was born in a village near Nishapur. Yaghma was a simple worker and was not literate. He began telling poems while in his thirties and learned how to read and write. He died in Nishapur and is buried beside the archeologic site of Shadiyakh there. Poems Most of his poems were unique in the field of his view. He disdained academic studies and idleness in his poems. He has described everything just through his rural simple view, that there had never been such those poems before. ''Heydar Babaya Salam'' ( az, حیدربابایه سلام) is an Azerbaijani poetical work by Mohammad Hossein Shahriar, a famous Iranian Azerbaijani poet. Published in 1954 in Tabriz, it is about Shahriar's childhood and his memories of his village Khoshgenab near Tabriz. ''Heydar Baba'' is the name of a mountain overlooking the village. In ''Heydar Babaya Salam'' Shahriar narrates a nostalgia from his childhood in a village in Iranian Azerbaijan. In describing Heydar Baba, Shahryar uses the Azeri Turkish word regime toward Azerbaijanis. Heydar Moslehi (born 1957 in Isfahan) is an Iranian cleric and politician who served as the minister of intelligence from 2009 to 2013. Early life and education Moslehi was born in Shahreza in the Isfahan province, Iran, in 1957. He was a student of Haghani Circle and received a master's degree in International law after studying abroad for several years. Career Before Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was elected president in 2005, Moslehi served as the representative of Ayatollah Khamenei to the Basij. Then new president Ahmadinejad appointed him as his adviser for clerical affairs. He was later appointed by Khamenei to be the head of the Organization for Islamic Endowments. Dr. Heydar Najaf oglu Huseynov (Azeri: ''Heydər Hüseynov'') (3 April 1908, Yerevan – 15 August 1950, Baku) was an Azerbaijani philosopher and academician. Life Huseynov was born in Erivan (present-day Yerevan, Armenia) into the petty bourgeois family of Haji Najaf Karbalai Huseynoglu and his wife Mashadi Gulsum, being the youngest of their six children.
