''Hey-Ho Believe'' is the fourth album by Irish singer/songwriter Jimmy MacCarthy. It was released on November 12, 2010, through his own label Ride On Records, the same label used for the previous album ''The Moment''. The track listing was announced via MacCarthy's official website. Chart reception The album reached #12 in the Irish Indie Individual Albums Chart. This was ahead of pop artists like The Coronas and The Prodigy, who were placed at #19 and #20. Jimmy MacCarthy
James MacCarthy (born 1953) is an Irish singer-songwriter. Early life and career (1953–1979) MacCarthy was born in Macroom, County Cork, Ireland to Ted MacCarthy (died 1998) and Betty MacCarthy (died 2009). He has 11 siblings. The family had a business distributing newspapers and magazines all over Munster. However the family soon lost their business from a combination of bad health and bad luck. Despite this, Ted and Betty made sure that things would still be good for their children. MacCarthy was unhappy at school and left at 15 without an Inter Cert and became a stable boy at Vincent O'Brien's place in Ballydoyle. After five years between Tipperary and Newmarket, Jimmy returned home to help his father, whose bad heart had led to the end of the business. Dónal Lunny
Dónal Lunny (born 10 March 1947) is an Irish folk musician and producer. He plays left-handed guitar and bouzouki, as well as keyboards and bodhrán. As a founding member of popular bands Planxty, The Bothy Band, Moving Hearts, Coolfin, Mozaik, LAPD, and Usher's Island, he has been at the forefront of the renaissance of Irish traditional music for over five decades. The Coronas
The Coronas are an Irish rock band that originated in Dublin. They release their music by their own independent record label, 3ú Records, and are based between Dublin and London. They have released seven studio albums, '' Heroes or Ghosts'' (2007), '' Tony Was an Ex-Con'' (2009), '' Closer to You'' (2011) The Long Way (2014), Trust The Wire (2017), True Love Waits (2020) Time Stopped (2022). The Prodigy
The Prodigy are an English electronic dance music band formed in Braintree, Essex, in 1990 by producer, keyboard player and songwriter Liam Howlett. The original line-up also featured dancer and singer Keith Flint and dancer and occasional live keyboard player Leeroy Thornhill, dancer Sharky and MC and vocalist Maxim. They were pioneers of the breakbeat-influenced genre big beat, and achieved mainstream popularity in the 1990s. Girls Aloud were an pop girl group that was created through the ITV talent show '' Popstars: The Rivals'' in 2002. Tommy Fleming (musician)
Tommy Fleming (born 15 May 1971) is an Irish singer. He rose to fame in the early 1990s after he was asked to tour the US with Phil Coulter. He soon established himself as a solo artist and found his greatest success singing traditional Irish music, both old and contemporary. Fleming has toured extensively throughout Ireland, UK, United States, the Netherlands and Australia.
