"Hey Matthew" is a song by British musician Karel Fialka, released as a single (music), single in 1987. It was later included on his 1988 Album#Studio, studio album, ''Human Animal''. The song has minimal musical instrument, instrumentation with only synthesizers and a drum machine being used. Karel Francis Fialka is an Indian-born British singer, songwriter, musician and record producer, best known for his 1987 single, "Hey Matthew". Career He was born Karel Francis Fialka in Bengal, India, to a Scottish people, Scottish mother and Czechs, Czech father. Fialka was launched in 1980 as "the street poet of the 1980s." Fialka's debut studio album ''Still Life'' was well received. The single "The Eyes Have It" received airplay (radio), radio play. Fialka had a Top 40, top 10 hit record, hit in 1987 on the UK Singles Chart with the single "Hey Matthew", (on I.R.S. Records). ''Blue Thunder'' is an American action drama television series based on the movie of the same title that aired on ABC from January 6 until April 16, 1984 featuring the ''Blue Thunder'' helicopter. The series uses the converted Aérospatiale Gazelle helicopter and large portions of stock footage from the 1983 film. A ground unit named "Rolling Thunder" backed up the helicopter in the television series. This was a large support van with a desert camouflage off-road vehicle stored inside.
