Heuweiler
Heuweiler is a village in the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in the southwest of Baden-Württemberg near Freiburg in southern Germany. The village has to a large extent retained its rural character. Whereas many communities in the vicinity of Freiburg have grown rapidly in recent decades a slow, organic change occurred in Heuweiler. Geography Heuweiler is located at the mouth of the Glotter valley in the Rhine Valley. The municipality consists of the village Vorderheuweiler, the hamlet Hinterheuweiler, the tine Neuhäuser and the farms and Berghäusle and Litzelstahlerhof. In the west Gundelfingen borders on Heuweiler, in the east the village Glottertal, both in the district Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, the neighboring municipality in the north, Denzlingen, is located in the district Emmendingen. Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald (french: Arrondissement de Brisgau-Haute-Forêt-Noire) is a (district) in the southwest of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Fifty towns and municipalities with 133 settlements lie within the district. The district itself belongs to the region of Freiburg with the region of Southern Upper Rhine. The municipal offices are in the city of Freiburg im Breisgau which is almost entirely surrounded by Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, but is independent of it. Denzlingen
Denzlingen is a municipality in the district of Emmendingen, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated north of Freiburg. Geography Denzlingen is located in the Upper Rhine Valley (''Oberrheinische Tiefebene'') at the edge of the Black Forest (''Schwarzwald'') between the river Elz in the north and the Glotter which runs through the southern part of the town. Johann Peter Hebel
Johann Peter Hebel (10 May 1760 – 22 September 1826) was a German short story writer, dialectal poet, Lutheran theologian and pedagogue, most famous for a collection of Alemannic lyric poems (''Allemannische Gedichte'') and one of German tales (''Schatzkästlein des rheinischen Hausfreundes''"Treasure Chest of Rhenish Tales"). Born in Basel, Hebel entered primary school in 1766 and joined a Latin school three years later; he visited the schools in Basel during summer and in Hausen and Schopfheim respectively in the nearby Wiesental during winter. Free Voters
Free Voters (german: Freie Wähler, FW or FWG) in Germany may belong to an association of people which participates in an election without having the status of a registered political party. Usually it involves a locally organized group of voters in the form of a registered association (eV).
