Heute-show
The ''heute-show'' ("(the) today show"; stylized in its logo as ''heute SHOW'') is a German late-night satirical television program airing every Friday evening on public broadcasting channel ZDF. A conceptual adaptation of ''The Daily Show'' with Jon Stewart, it is presented by German comedian and journalist Oliver Welke. ''Heute show'' presents the weekly news with funny or sarcastic and cynical comments, especially focusing on issues that are subject of the latest political discussions in Germany. Welke argues that he might help to make people interested in politics and might help to point out "what goes the wrong way" in parliamentary debates, in ministries, in institutions, and in parties. Lutz Van Der Horst
Lutz van der Horst (born 20 August 1975) is a German television presenter and comedian. He is most known for being a political satire reporter on the ''heute-show''. Biography Born in Cologne, van der Horst studied English studies and German studies at University of Cologne. He then initially worked as a speaker and author for radio, such as appearing on the "Bürgerfunk" show on Radio Cologne, where he also worked on the youth magazine "Mehr von mehr". Then he did an internship at 1LIVE radio station. Oliver Welke
Oliver Welke (born 19 April 1966) is a German television presenter, journalist, satirist, comedian and voice actor. Biography Welke was born in Bielefeld and studied journalism at the University of Münster, graduating in 1993. He then worked in a number of fields and eventually became a rather well-known sport journalist and presenter. Together with Oliver Kalkofe, whom he met while working for a public radio station, he provided the German voices for '' Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie'' (as Crow T. Robot) and the British comedy show ''Little Britain'', and also co-wrote the script for the crime film parody '' Der WiXXer''. Dietrich Hollinderbäumer (born 16 August 1942) is a German-Swedish actor. The Daily Show
''The Daily Show'' is an American late-night talk and satirical news television program. It airs each Monday through Thursday on Comedy Central with release shortly after on Paramount+. ''The Daily Show'' draws its comedy and satire form from recent news stories as well as political figures, media organizations, and often uses self-referential humor. The half-hour-long show premiered on July 22, 1996, and was first hosted by Craig Kilborn until December 17, 1998. ZDFneo
ZDFneo is a German free-to-air television channel, programmed for an audience aged 25 to 49 to counter the primarily older-skewing main channels of public broadcasters ZDF and ARD. It replaced ZDF's documentary channel ZDFdokukanal on 1 November 2009. History On 1 October 2017, the station was to receive a new on-air design and a new broadcasting logo; this was brought forward to 26 September 2017. Distribution ZDFneo is broadcast (along with the rest of ZDFvision) via DVB-T digital terrestrial television, receivable in most areas of Germany.
