Frank Van Passel
Frank Van Passel (born 23 June 1964) is a Belgian film director and producer. In 1995, he made his directorial film debut with ''Manneken Pis'', which premiered at the 1995 Cannes Film Festival and won the Mercedes-Benz Award, Grand Golden Rail, Award of the Youth and the Prix Guillermo del Toro . The film received the André Cavens Award for Best Film and four awards at the Joseph Plateau Awards. Van Passel's next film, ''Villa des Roses'' (2002), was adapted from the 1913 novella of the same name by Belgian writer Willem Elsschot. The film starred Julie Delpy, Shaun Dingwall and Shirley Henderson. It won Best Feature at the Hollywood Film Festival and was nominated for three awards at the British Independent Film Awards. Kevin Janssens (actor)
Kevin Janssens (born 21 August 1979) is a Belgian-born big-screen, television, and stage actor. Early life and education Janssens was born in Antwerp, Belgium on 21 August 1979. He studied under Guido Henderickx at Studio Herman Teirlinck in Antwerp, graduating in 2003. Career In 2006, at age 27, Janssens played the lead role in the film (and preceding television series), ''King of the World'', which was shot in Cuba; he also starred in Hans Herbots' '' Stormforce'' that was released in that year. Janssens costarred alongside Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz in Coralie Fargeat's '' Revenge'' (2017), which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, was given a mise-en-scene award at Sitges, and was given a Midnight session slot at Sundance in 2018. Wim Opbrouck (born 5 February 1969) is a Flemish actor and singer. He is especially known for his work on stage. Opbrouck comes from Bavikhove, part of Harelbeke and studied at the Herman Teirlinck Studio. As an actor, he joined the Blue Monday Company. In 1997 he performed in a 12-hour theater marathon production of ''Ten oorlog'' by Tom Lanoye. Following the merger of this company with KNS (Antwerp), he became an actor at the Drama House.
