Hersha Parady
Hersha Parady (born May 25, 1945) is an American actress best known for her role of Alice Garvey in '' Little House on the Prairie''. Life and career Parady was born as Betty Sandhoff in Berea, Ohio and attended Berea High School. She began acting locally at age 14 in Cleveland area theatrical productions. She moved west in the early 1970s to further her acting career and landed a role opposite Jon Voight in a touring production of A Streetcar Named Desire. Parady began her career in television with guest-appearances in ''Mannix'', '' Bearcats!'' and '' The Waltons''. Hersha was considered to play Caroline Ingalls in Little House on the Prairie, but lost out to Karen Grassle. Later, in 1976 episode ''Journey in the Spring'', Paraday played Eliza Anne Ingalls, Charles' sister-in-law. Berea, Ohio
Berea ( ) is a city in Cuyahoga County in the U.S. state of Ohio and is a western suburb of Cleveland. The population was 19,093 at the 2010 census. Berea is home to Baldwin Wallace University, as well as the training facility for the Cleveland Browns and the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. Also near Berea is the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. History Berea was established in 1836. The first European settlers were originally from Connecticut. Berea fell within Connecticut's Western Reserve and was surveyed and divided into townships and ranges by Gideon Granger, who served as Postmaster General under President Thomas Jefferson. Abram Hickox, a Revolutionary War veteran, bought the first plot in what is today Middleburg Heights and in 1808 traveled west from Connecticut to his new purchase. Matthew Charles Labyorteaux (born December 8, 1966) is an American film, television and voice actor. In many of his credits, his last name is spelled as "Laborteaux". He is also credited as Matthew Charles for his work in animation. He is best known for portraying Albert Ingalls on ''Little House on the Prairie'' from 1978 to 1983. He is also known as the voice of Jaden Yuki and The Supreme King in ''Yu-Gi-Oh! GX'' from 2005 to 2008.
