ProMedica Herrick Hospital was a public hospital in Tecumseh, Michigan that is part of the ProMedica Health System. It closed in September 2020 and was replaced by Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital in Adrian, which also replaced Bixby Memorial Hospital in Adrian. On July 3, 2023 a public notice was made for the announcement of a purchase agreement for the Herrick Hospital property by Behavioral Heath Solutions Center. Tecumseh, Michigan
Tecumseh is a city in Lenawee County in the U.S. state of Michigan, near the River Raisin. Tecumseh is about southwest of Detroit, south of Ann Arbor, and north of Toledo, Ohio. The main street of downtown is Chicago Boulevard, also designated as M-50. It crosses the River Raisin a few miles east of M-52. As of the 2010 census, the city has a population of 8,521. Adrian is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan and the county seat of Lenawee County. The population was 20,645 at the 2020 census. Adrian lies in Michigan's 7th congressional district. History Adrian was founded on June 18, 1826 by Addison Comstock. The original name for the village was Logan, but was changed soon after to Adrian, perhaps in reference to the Roman emperor Hadrian.
