Hernán Pérez (baseball)
Hernán Alejandro Pérez (born March 26, 1991) is a Venezuelan professional baseball utility player in the Minnesota Twins organization. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Detroit Tigers, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs, and Washington Nationals. He also played for the Hanwha Eagles of the KBO League. Pérez was signed by the Tigers as a non-drafted free agent in 2007, and has seen time at every position on the field except for catcher. The Washington Nationals are an American professional baseball team based in Washington, D.C.. They compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member of the National League (NL) East division. Venezuelan Summer League
The Venezuelan Summer League (VSL) was a professional baseball sports league that operated in Venezuela from 1997 to 2015, primarily in the state of Carabobo. Teams in the league served as academies for Major League Baseball (MLB) organizations, and were classified at the Rookie League level within Minor League Baseball. History The VSL was created in 1997 as an alternative to the Dominican Summer League (DSL) to improve the development of young prospects from Venezuela in their early years in organized baseball. The Erie SeaWolves are an United States, American professional baseball team based in Erie, Pennsylvania.
