Hermes Ladies' Hockey Club
Hermes Ladies' Hockey Club was a women's field hockey club based at St. Andrew's College in Booterstown, Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Ireland. The club entered teams in the Women's Irish Hockey League, the Irish Senior Cup and the Irish Junior Cup. In 2016 Hermes merged with the women's team at Monkstown Hockey Club and subsequently played as Hermes-Monkstown. As Hermes-Monkstown, the club represented Ireland in the 2017 EuroHockey Club Champions Cup. History Old Wesley Hockey Club Hermes Ladies' Hockey Club was a successor club of the Old Wesley Hockey Club, originally founded by former pupils of Wesley College. During the 1950s and early 1960s, Old Wesley played at Leinster intermediate level. Traditionally Old Wesley recruited players from Protestant schools. Hockey Ireland
Hockey Ireland, previously known as the Irish Hockey Association, is the governing body for field hockey in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Old Alex Hockey Club is a women's field hockey club based at Alexandra College in Milltown, Dublin, Ireland. Audrey O'Flynn
Audrey O'Flynn is an Ireland women's rugby sevens international. O'Flynn represented Ireland at the 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens. O'Flynn is also a former Ireland women's field hockey international. Mary Goode
Mary Goode (born 15 May 1979) is a former Ireland women's field hockey international. She has also played senior club field hockey for Pembroke Wanderers and Hermes. Domestic teams Goode was a Pembroke Wanderers player when she made her senior Ireland debut. During the 2005–06 season Goode played for Cork Harlequins after moving to Cork for work. In 2006–07 she re-joined Pembroke Wanderers. Together with Natalie Fulton, she was a member of the Wanderers women's team that lost 1–0 to Pegasus in the Irish Senior Cup final. In the final Goode saved from six penalty corners. In 2008 she was a member of the Wanderers team that were runners up in the European Cup Winners Cup. Railway Union Sports Club is a multi-sports club based in Sandymount, Dublin 4, Ireland. UCD Ladies' Hockey Club is a women's field hockey club based in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Ireland. It is the women's field hockey club of University College Dublin. In addition to playing in Colours matches with Dublin University and competing in intervarsity tournaments, the club also enter teams in the Women's Irish Hockey League, the Irish Senior Cup and the Irish Junior Cup. The Women's Irish Hockey League is a field hockey league organised by Hockey Ireland that features women's teams from both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The league was first played for during the 2008–09 season. It replaced the All-Ireland Club Championships as the top level women's field hockey competition in Ireland. Gillian Pinder (born 5 May 1992) is an Ireland women's field hockey international. She was a member of the Ireland team that played in the 2018 Women's Hockey World Cup final. Pinder has also won Irish Senior Cup and Women's Irish Hockey League titles with UCD. Early years, family and education Pinder is the daughter of Alan and Mary Pinder. Her father, Alan, is originally from Mullingar. Her sister, Laura, is also a field hockey player and has played for Hermes-Monkstown in the Women's Irish Hockey League and the EuroHockey Club Champions Cup . Nicola Evans (born 17 January 1990), also referred to as Nikki Evans, is an Ireland women's field hockey international. She was a member of the Ireland team that played in the 2018 Women's Hockey World Cup final. Evans has also won Women's Irish Hockey League titles with Railway Union, UCD and Hermes-Monkstown. In the 2013–14 Evans was a member the UCD team that completed a national double, winning both the league and the Irish Senior Cup.
