Herman Rarebell
Herman Rarebell (born 18 November 1949 as Hermann Josef Erbel) is a German musician, best known as the drummer for the hard rock band Scorpions from 1977 to 1995, during which time he played on eight studio albums. Aside from playing drums, Rarebell wrote or co-wrote several songs for the group such as "Another Piece of Meat", "Falling in Love" and "Passion Rules the Game". He composed the lyrics for some of the band's most well known songs such as "Rock You Like a Hurricane", "Make It Real", "Dynamite", "Blackout", "Arizona", "Bad Boys Running Wild", "Don't Stop at the Top", and "Tease Me Please Me". Herman Rarebell received his education in the subjects drums and piano at the Musikhochschule Saarbrücken. Rarebell played drums from 1965 with the band The Mastermen, from 1968 with The Fuggs Blues and RS Rindfleisch, with whom he released one single and performed in the clubs of the US military throughout Germany. Schmelz
Schmelz is a municipality in the district of Saarlouis, in Saarland, Germany. It is situated approximately 15 km northeast of Saarlouis, and 25 km northwest of Saarbrücken. The town of Schmelz (which translates to Glaze) is made of six municipalities, Schmelz itself – which consists of Außen and Bettingen – and Hüttersdorf, Limbach, Michelbach, Primsweiler, and Dorf im Bohnental. Love At First Sting
''Love at First Sting'' is the ninth studio album by German rock band Scorpions. It was released on 27 March 1984 on Harvest/EMI in Europe and Mercury in the US. The album contains "Rock You Like a Hurricane", "Still Loving You", and " Big City Nights", three of the band's most famous songs. Background and recording The album was recorded in 1983 and 1984 at Dierks Studios in Stommeln, West Germany. Initial sessions took place in Stockholm's Polar Studios in the Summer of 1983 with ex-Rainbow members Jimmy Bain on bass and Bobby Rondinelli on drums, but nothing made it to the final album. ''Love at First Sting'' is notable in that it was one of the first digitally recorded heavy metal records ever released. Scorpions are predatory arachnids of the Order (biology), order Scorpiones. They have eight legs, and are easily recognized by a pair of Chela (organ), grasping pincers and a narrow, segmented tail, often carried in a characteristic forward curve over the back and always ending with a stinger. ''Face the Heat'' is the twelfth studio album released by the German hard rock band Scorpions in 1993. It was produced by the band and the late Bruce Fairbairn and released on the Mercury label. This album marked their status as a sort of political band with the song "Alien Nation", which was about the re-unification of Germany. This album had a contemporary touch to it, as the band were then going with the current trends, before later returning to their original style in ''Unbreakable'' in 2004. This is the last album to feature drummer Herman Rarebell, and the first with Ralph Rieckermann on bass guitar. ''Crazy World'' is the eleventh studio album by the German hard rock band Scorpions, released on 6 November 1990. The album peaked at No. 21 on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart for albums in 1991. That same year, the song " Wind of Change" reached No. 4 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and " Send Me an Angel" reached No. 44 on the same chart.
