Herk Harvey
Harold Arnold "Herk" Harvey (June 3, 1924 – April 3, 1996) was an American film director, screenwriter, actor and film producer. Early life Harvey was born in Windsor, Colorado, the son of Everett and Minnie R. Prewitt Harvey. He grew up in Waverly, Illinois and in Fort Collins and was a graduate of Fort Collins High School before serving in the U.S. Navy as a Quartermaster, 3rd Class, during World War II, during which time he was studying chemical engineering. "But when I got out," Harvey said, "I decided that wasn't for me and so I went into the theater." Herk Robinson
Spencer "Herk" Robinson (born 1941) is a retired American front office executive in Major League Baseball. He served for almost a decade as general manager of the Kansas City Royals, from October 10, 1990, through June 17, 2000, and was an executive in the Royals' front office for almost 35 years. Robinson attended the University of Miami and Washington University in St. Louis. He entered baseball with the Cincinnati Reds in 1964 as secretary of minor league clubs and switched to the Baltimore Orioles after the 1968 season. In December 1969, Robinson joined the year-old Royals as assistant director of scouting and began a steady rise through the Kansas City organization, switching from baseball to business operations in 1980. After ten seasons as the Royals' top administrator, he was given the general manager role when John Schuerholz departed for the Atlanta Braves following the 1990 campaign. The Gete (; french: Gette) is a river in Belgium which flows south to north. It is a left tributary of the Demer. The Gete is formed by the confluence of the rivers ''Grote Gete'' ("Large Gete") and ''Kleine Gete'' ("Small Gete") near Zoutleeuw, Budingen. From Budingen the river continues for to the city of Halen, where it flows into the Demer. The river was the historical border between the Prince-Bishopric of Liège and the Duchy of Brabant. Herk-de-Stad (; french: Herck-la-Ville, ) is a city and municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. On 1 January 2018, Herk-de-Stad had a total population of 12,661. The total area is 42.83 km² which gives a population density of 296 inhabitants per km². Besides the village of Herk-de-Stad itself, the municipality contains the communities of Berbroek, Schulen and Donk.
