Here Comes The Zoo
''Here Comes the Zoo'' is an album by the band Local H. It was released on March 5, 2002 on Palm Pictures. This was their first album not released on Island Records. Starting with this album, every release so far has been on a different label. The album was originally released with a Lenticular printing, lenticular cover, with two images of Scott Lucas (musician), Scott Lucas and Brian St. Clair. Later printings were not lenticular, and only included the image of Lucas on the cover. The album was originally to be released in late 2001 but it got delayed to 2002 due to the effects of the 9/11 attacks. On September 12th, 2022, the album was reissued as a 2-CD set for purchase on the band'website The first disc features the original 10 tracks, while the second is a compilation of rough mixes from Here Comes the Zoo recording sessions. Local H
Local H is an American rock band originally formed by guitarist and vocalist Scott Lucas, bassist Matt Garcia, drummer Joe Daniels, and lead guitarist John Sparkman in Zion, Illinois in 1990. The members all met in high school in 1987 and founded Local H three years later. They are known for their unorthodox two-piece setup. After Sparkman's departure in 1991 and Garcia's departure in 1993, Local H signed a record contract with Island Records in 1994 as a duo, where they would go on to release three albums. They became best known for their radio hit "Bound for the Floor", a single from the 1996 album '' As Good as Dead'' which peaked at No. 5 on the US Alternative ''Billboard'' Chart. The album ''As Good As Dead'' was also certified gold. Daniels was replaced by Brian St. Clair in 1999, and the group released four albums and four EPs with St. Clair on drums. Tony Wright (born 23 October 1949, in London), also known as Sue Ab Surd, is an artist who created album covers such as Bob Marley's ''Natty Dread'' and Traffic (band), Traffic's ''The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys'' and others including Bob Dylan's ''Saved (Bob Dylan album), Saved''. Gerald Caiafa Jr. (born April 21, 1959), better known by his stage name Jerry Only, is an American musician, best known as the bassist for the Misfits and later the vocalist as well.
