Claude Herbulot
Claude Herbulot (19 February 1908 – 19 January 2006) was a French entomologist. He was born in Charleville-Mézières and died in Paris. He was a lepidopterist and specialised in moths in the family Geometridae. His collection is housed at the Zoologische Staatssammlung München. His life He was born in Charleville-Mézières in 1908 in the Ardennes and his earliest works were on the lepidopteran fauna of the district. Later in his life he visited many afrotropical and oriental countries and spent time in Madagascar studying the fauna and describing about one third of the geometrid species of the island. He was portrayed in his obituary as ::... a nice, clever, cultured person and an active, highly competent lepidopterist. A biography has been published by one of his friends, Philippe Darge. Guy Herbulot
Guy Alexis Herbulot (7 March 1925 – 1 August 2021) was a French Roman Catholic prelate. He was ordained a priest in 1950. Herbulot served as the bishop of Évry-Corbeil-Essonnes from 1978 until 2000. Career Herbulot was ordained priest on 29 June 1950 for the Diocese of Reims. In 1972, he was appointed Vicar General of Reims. Herbulot was appointed auxiliary bishop of the diocese of Reims in residence at Charleville-Mézières on 20 June 1974. On 12 May 1978, he was appointed bishop of Corbeil-Essonnes. He retired on 15 April 2000. Personal life Herbulot was born in Saint-Menges, France. He completed all of his training for the priesthood at the Grand Séminaire de Reims. Jean-Jacques Herbulot (29 March 1909 – 22 July 1997) was a French sailor and competitor in sailing at the Summer Olympics. He was also a noted naval architect and designed many sailboats. Early life and education Herbulot was born in Belval, Ardennes in France. His formal education was as an architect and he earned a Diplôme d'Ingénieur. However, he soon turned his attention to sailboat design instead. Design career Herbulot started designing boats in 1947, specializing in sailboats of plywood construction for amateur builders and for sailing schools. He designed over 100 boat types during his design career. He is described by Bruce McArthur as "one of the best known figures in the French sailing world. As a designer, he is responsible for bringing the sport of sailing to those who had never before had the means to participate." Jean Luc Herbulot (born in 1983 in Pointe-Noire, Republic of the Congo) is a Congolese film director and screenwriter. Biography Herbulot started drawing and writing stories at an early age. His activities included writing, drawing, composing music, working on video games, and graphic design. In 2004, while studying editing as part of his multimedia studies in Paris, he directed his first short movie, titled ''Vierge(s)'', for which he also did the scriptwriting, storyboard, lighting, editing, and DVD release. Despite the amateur quality and the fact that the film was his first step in moviemaking, this project was quite successful at festivals and on the internet. Herbulot graduated as a multimedia project manager and started to work for TF1 as a graphic designer.
