''Her Melody'' (Swedish: ''Hennes melodi'') is a 1940 Swedish comedy film directed by Thor L. Brooks and starring Sonja Wigert, Sture Lagerwall and Margit Manstad.Qvist & Von Bagh p.55 It was shot at the Sundbyberg Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Max Linder and Bibi Lindström. Synopsis Sonja and Curt meet in a taxi. Both believe the other is from the wealthy upper-classes and try to maintain the pretence. Stig Järrel (8February 19101July 1998) was a Swedish actor, film director and revue artist. Järrel was one of the most popular actors in Sweden during his career, and also one of the most productive, participating in a total of 131 films. He also performed as an actor at various Swedish theatres and was a frequent guest on radio and television. Biography Stig Järrel was born Stig Ohlson in Malmberget in northern Sweden in 1910. Hilda Borgström
Hilda Teresia Borgström (13 October 1871 – 2 January 1953) was a Swedish stage and film actress. Biography Born in 1871 in Stockholm, Borgström made her film debut in 1912. She starred in leading parts in Victor Sjöström's silent films ''Ingeborg Holm'' (aka ''Margaret Day'') (1913) and '' Körkarlen'' (aka ''The Phantom Carriage/The Stroke of Midnight/Thy Soul Shall Bear Witness'') in 1921. Borgström started out to be a dancer and trained at the old Royal Theatre's ballet school in Stockholm 1880–1887. Later she decided to turn to the theatre instead and studied drama. Her professional debut on stage came in 1890 at one of Albert Ranft's theatres.
