Henry Seidu Daanaa
Henry Siedu Daanaa (born 1955) is a lawyer and the former Ministry for Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs, Minister for Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs of Ghana. He was the first visually impaired person to be approved as a Minister of State in Ghana. He was nominated for the position by President John Dramani Mahama in January 2013. Early life Henry Siedu Daanaa was born in 1955 in Tuasa in the Upper West Region of Ghana. He is one of 13 children born to his parents. Daanaa enrolled into the Law Faculty of the University of Ghana in 1979 and completed his undergraduate coursework in 1981. He then went to the London School of Economics and Political Science to get his master's degree in law. From 1986 to 1992, he completed his Doctorate and Degree programmes in Law from the same university. John Dramani Mahama (; born 29 November 1958) is a Ghanaian politician who served as President of Ghana from 24 July 2012 to 7 January 2017. He previously served as Vice President of Ghana from January 2009 to July 2012, and took office as president on 24 July 2012 following the death of his predecessor John Evans Fiifi Attah Mills. Mahama is a communication expert, historian, and writer. A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), he was Member of Parliament for Bole Bamboi from 1997 to 2009 and served as Deputy Minister for Communication between 1997 and 1998 before becoming the substantive Minister for Communications from 1998 to 2001.
