Henry Osinde
Henry Osinde (born 17 October 1978) is a Canadian cricket coach and former player. He immigrated to Canada from Uganda as a young man and represented the Canada national cricket team from 2005 to 2013 as a fast-medium bowler. He played at the 2007 and 2011 Cricket World Cups. He was later interim head coach of Canada in 2017. Personal life Osinde was born on 17 October 1978 in Kampala, Uganda. He attended Busoga College Mwiri where he was introduced to cricket at the age of 15. He later attended Makerere University, before immigrating to Canada in 2001. Outside of cricket he worked as an accountant. Playing career After moving to Canada, Osinde began playing in the Toronto & District Cricket Association. He was selected in Canada's squad for the 2005 ICC Trophy in Ireland, ironically making his international debut in a warm-up game against Uganda. First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. The 2016–17 Regional Super50 was the 43rd edition of the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). The tournament was held in Antigua and Barbuda. ICC Americas
ICC Americas is an international body which oversees cricket in countries in the Americas. It is a subordinate body to the International Cricket Council (ICC). The organisation currently has 17 members, located in Northern America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, and is responsible for the development, promotion and administration of the game in the above regions. ICC Americas oversees the regional qualification tournaments for the Cricket World Cup, the Women's Cricket World Cup, the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, and the Under-19 Cricket World Cup. 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Three
2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Three was a cricket tournament that took place in Uganda between 23 and 30 May 2017. The matches took place in Lugogo, Kyambogo and Entebbe. The top two teams, Oman and Canada, were promoted to Division Two. The final ended as a no result due to rain, and therefore Oman won the tournament by virtue of finishing top of the group stage table. Three countries bid to host the tournament – Canada, Malaysia, and Uganda. In October 2016, the International Cricket Council (ICC) approved a proposal for the tournament to be held in Uganda, subject to security arrangements and costs. Two ICC officials toured the country in December 2016, meeting with the country's First Lady, Janet Museveni, and Prime Minister, Ruhakana Rugunda. Davy Jacobs
David Johan Jacobs (born 4 November 1982) is a South African cricketer, who played for Warriors and the Eagles cricket team. Since then, he has represented the Canadian cricket team, and in 2018, he captained the team as part of a first-class cricket tournament in the West Indies. He has also played for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Playing career He is a right-handed batsman, he has made over 3000 first class runs at an average above 40 and a highest score of 218. Kenya National Cricket Team
The Kenya national cricket team represents the Republic of Kenya in international cricket. Kenya is an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) which has Twenty20 International (T20I) status after the ICC granted T20I status to all of their members. They have been an associate member of the ICC since 1981. Since then they have played in five Cricket World Cups from 1996 to 2011 with their best result being a semi-final appearance at the 2003 Cricket World Cup in Southern Africa. Andrew James Moles (born 12 February 1961) is an English cricket coach and former cricketer who played first-class cricket for Warwickshire and Griqualand West. He has served as head coach of numerous international teams, including Hong Kong, Kenya, Scotland, New Zealand, Afghanistan and Bahamas.
