Essendon is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, north-west of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Moonee Valley local government area. Essendon recorded a population of 21,240 at the 2021 census. Hughesdale is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 14 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Monash local government area. Hughesdale recorded a population of 7,563 at the 2021 census. Just 2sq km in size, it is the smallest suburb in the City of Monash.
