Henry Howard, Earl Of Surrey
Henry Howard, Earl of Surrey (1516/1517 – 19 January 1547), Order of the Garter, KG, was an English nobleman, politician and poet. He was one of the founders of English Renaissance poetry and was the last known person executed at the instance of King Henry VIII. He was a first cousin of the king's wives Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard. His name is usually associated in literature with that of the poet Thomas Wyatt (poet), Sir Thomas Wyatt. Owing largely to the powerful position of his father, Thomas Howard, 3rd Duke of Norfolk, Surrey took a prominent part in the court life of the time, and served as a soldier both in France and Scotland. He was a man of reckless temper, which involved him in many quarrels, and finally brought upon him the wrath of the ageing and embittered Henry VIII. Henry Molyneux Paget Howard, 19th Earl of Suffolk, 12th Earl of Berkshire (13 September 1877 – 21 April 1917) was a British peer, styled Viscount Andover until 1898. Early life The eldest son of Henry Howard, 18th Earl of Suffolk and Mary Eleanor Lauderdale Coventry (1847–1928). His siblings were Hon. Henry Howard RA (31 January 1769 – 5 October 1847) was an early 19th-century British portrait and history painter. Biography He was born in London and after being educated at a school in Hounslow, he started studying with the painter Philip Reinagle in 1786. In 1788 he began attending the Royal Academy Schools and was awarded a silver medal for drawing from life and a gold medal for historical painting for his ''Caractacus Recognising the Dead Body of his Son''.Graves and Graham-Vernon, “Henry Howard”. In March 1791, Howard traveled to Italy, France, and Switzerland. In Rome, he met and studied sculpture with John Flaxman and John Deare. In 1792 he painted a ''Dream of Cain''. Henry Howard FRS (2 July 1757 – 1 March 1842) was an English antiquarian and family historian, best known as the author of ''Memorials of the Howard Family''. Early life Howard was born at Corby Castle in Cumberland on 2 July 1757, into the large and prominent Roman Catholic Howard family. Henry was the eldest son of Philip Howard (1730–1810) of Corby Castle, who wrote ''Scriptural History of the Earth and of Mankind'', first published in London in 1797. His mother was Anne Witham, daughter of Henry Witham of Cliffe, Yorkshire. Among his sisters was Maria Howard, the second wife of Hon. George William Petre (son of Robert Petre, 9th Baron Petre). Bonaventure Giffard
Bonaventure Giffard (1642–1734) was a Roman Catholic bishop who served as the Vicar Apostolic of the Midland District of England from 1687 to 1703 and Vicar Apostolic of the London District of England from 1703 to 1734. Life He was the second son of Andrew Giffard of Chillington, in the parish of Brewood, Staffordshire, by Catherine, daughter of Sir Walter Leveson, born at Wolverhampton in 1642. His father was slain in a skirmish near Wolverhampton early in the Civil War. The family still exists, and traces a pedigree without failure of heirs male from before the Conquest. Bonaventure was educated in the English College, Douai, and thence proceeded on 23 October 1667 to complete his ecclesiastical studies in Paris. He received the degree of D.D. in 1677 from the Sorbonne, having previously been ordained as a secular priest for the English mission. King James II soon after his accession made Giffard one of his chaplains and preachers.

Henry Howard (Michigan Politician)
Henry Howard (March 8, 1833 – May 24, 1894) was a banker and businessman, and served as the mayor of Port Huron, Michigan, and in the Michigan state legislature. Biography Henry Howard was born March 8, 1833, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of John and Nancy Hubbard Howard. The elder Howard was a grocer and hotelier in Detroit, but the 1834 cholera outbreak convinced him to move his family moved to Port Huron. Once in Port Huron, John Howarn entered the lumber trade and eventually built three sawmills in the city. Henry Howard received his schooling in Port Huron, and for four years worked in various positions in Port Huron and Detroit. In 1854, Henry Howard joined his father's business, and the two were partners for 26 years until John Howard's retirement in 1877, after which Henry continued the business alone. Henry Howard (September 15, 1801 – July 15, 1878) was a banker and businessman, and served as mayor of Detroit in 1837, and as the first treasurer of the state of Michigan. Biography Henry Howard was born in Hinsdale, Massachusetts on September 15, 1801. He later moved to Geneva, New York. In 1827, Howard entered into a partnership with Ralph Wadhams to form Howard and Wadhams (a third partner, W. S. DeZeng, stayed in New York and was not active in the business for the five years he was associated with Howard and Wadhams). Henry Howard (April 2, 1826 – September 22, 1905) was an American lawyer and politician. He served as the 32nd Governor of Rhode Island from 1873 to 1875. Early life Howard was born in Cranston, Rhode Island to Jesse and Mary Howard. He attended Smithville Seminary and in 1848 he studied law in the office of future Rhode Island Governor William W. Hoppin. In 1851, he was admitted to the Rhode Island Bar and began a private law practice. Career While serving in the Rhode Island General Assembly, Howard was a delegate to the 1856 Republican National Convention which nominated John C. Fremont as the Republican presidential candidate. Sir Henry Francis Howard (3 November 1809 – 28 January 1898) was a British diplomat who was envoy to several countries. Career Howard entered the Diplomatic Service in 1828. He was Secretary of the British legation at The Hague 1845–1846 and at Berlin 1846–1853; Minister to Brazil 1853–1855; Minister to Portugal 1855–1859; Minister to Hanover 1859–1866; and finally was the last British Minister to the Kingdom of Bavaria 1866–1872 (the post was downgraded to chargé d'affaires after Bavaria joined the German Empire).
