Henry Colman
Henry Colman (September 9, 1923 – November 7, 2012) was an American producer and screenwriter. Early life Colman was born Henry Cohen in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Canadian-Russian parents Abe, a businessman, and Jenny, a homemaker. He had an older brother and sister. Colman attended and graduated from Altoona Area High School. He then spent two years at the University of Michigan before in 1943 being drafted into the United States Army Air Force, Army Air Force, where he served for two years as a navigator on B-29 bombers. Colman then attended Columbia University, where he received a bachelor's degree in theatre. Career After graduating from Columbia Colman worked as a lighting assistant in various colleges, becoming lighting director and also doing some acting. Altoona is a city in Blair County, Pennsylvania. It is the principal city of the Altoona Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). The population was 43,963 at the time of the 2020 Census, making it the eighteenth most populous city in Pennsylvania. Either employed by a production company or working independently, producers plan and coordinate various aspects of film production, such as selecting the script, coordinating writing, directing, editing, and arranging financing. ''The Love Boat'' is an American romantic comedy/drama television series that aired on ABC from 1977 to 1986; in addition, four three-hour specials aired in 1986, 1987, and 1990.
