Henrique Walter Pinotti
Henrique Walter Pinotti (1929 – June 21, 2010) was a Brazilian physician and gastric surgeon, and a full professor of surgery at the University of São Paulo's Medical School. He was the author of the book ''Accesso ao Esôfago Torácico por Transecção Mediana do Diafragma'' (1999). Pinotti became notable in 1985 by operating on the elected president Tancredo Neves. Tancredo Neves
Tancredo de Almeida Neves () (4 March 1910 – 21 April 1985) was a Brazilian politician, lawyer, and entrepreneur. He served as Minister of Justice and Interior Affairs from 1953 to 1954, Prime Minister from 1961 to 1962, Minister of Finance in 1962, and as Governor of Minas Gerais from 1983 to 1984. He was elected President of Brazil in 1985, but died before taking office. He began his political career with the Progressistas (PP) of Minas Gerais, for whom he served as city councilman of São João del Rei from 1935 to 1937. He received the majority of votes and became President of the Municipal Legislature. Cancer
Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. These contrast with benign tumors, which do not spread.
