Henrik Røa
Henrik Røa (born 5 August 1995) is a Norwegian alpine skier. He competed in five events at the 2015 Junior World Championships, recording a 4th place in downhill. He was not selected for Norway national teams, and made a living as a part-time deliveryman for Foodora. He represents the club IL Heming. Røa nonetheless made his World Cup debut in December 2019 in Val Gardena. Following several injuries in the Norwegian team, he was selected again in January 2021 in Kitzbühel Kitzbühel (, also: ; ) is a medieval town situated in the Kitzbühel Alps along the river Kitzbüheler Ache in Tyrol, Austria, about east of the state capital Innsbruck and is the administrative centre of the Kitzbühel district (). IL Heming
Idrettslaget Heming is a Norwegian sports club from Slemdal, Oslo. It has sections for association football, Nordic skiing, alpine skiing, orienteering and tennis, previously also for bandy. General history It was founded on 25 May 1916, and named after a mythological character based in the Viking era. It has the sports field Hemingbanen and the indoor arenas Heminghallen and Nye Heminghallen near Gråkammen station. The FIS Alpine Ski World Cup is the top international circuit of alpine skiing competitions, launched in 1966 by a group of ski racing friends and experts which included French journalist Serge Lang and the alpine ski team directors from France (Honore Bonnet) and the USA ( Bob Beattie). Val Gardena
Val Gardena (; german: Gröden ; lld, Gherdëina ) is a valley in Northern Italy, in the Dolomites of South Tyrol. It is best known as a tourist skiing, rock climbing, and woodcarving area. Geography The valley's main river is the Derjon, a tributary of the Eisack river. The mountains that surround the valley are formed by dolomite rocks, which confer on them a characteristic appearance. Most of the steep slopes are covered by pine woods. The favoured cultivations are barley, rye, potatoes, flax, buckwheat. The three municipalities in Val Gardena are Urtijëi, Sëlva, and Santa Cristina; they were served by the Val Gardena Railway from 1916 until 1960.
