Henn Põlluste
Henn Põlluste (born on 2 September 1952 in Virtsu) is an Estonian wrestler and wrestling coach. In 1980 he graduated from Tallinn Pedagogical Institute in physical education. In 1972 he won Ivan Poddubny international competition. 1973-1979 he won several gold medals at Estonian Wrestling Championships. 1979–1990, 2002–2008 and 2010–2016, he was the principal coach of Estonian national wrestling team. Students: Marko Yli-Hannuksela, Juha Ahokas, Valeri Nikitin, Tarvi Thomberg, Heiki Nabi, Ardo Arusaar. Ardo Arusaar (born 24 June 1988 in Pärnu) is an Estonian Greco-Roman wrestler. Heiki Nabi
Heiki Nabi (born 6 June 1985) is an Estonian Olympic champion Greco-Roman wrestler. Nabi was born in Hilleste, Hiiumaa. At the 2006 World Wrestling Championships he won the gold medal in the men's Greco-Roman (96 kg) category and became the first amateur wrestling World Champion for his home country, because previous Estonian wrestling World Champion August Englas ( 1953 and 1954) competed for Soviet Union. Virtsu
Virtsu is a small borough (') in Lääneranna Parish, Pärnu County, Estonia. It lies on the western coast of continental Estonia, and is a location of the main port for traffic to and from Saaremaa, the largest island of Estonia. The Virtsu ferry goes to Kuivastu, which is located on the island of Muhu, which is in turn connected to Saaremaa by the largest causeway in Estonia, the Väinatamm. Tarvi Thomberg
Tarvi Thomberg (born 10 May 1982) is a retired amateur Estonian Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's light heavyweight category. Thomberg represented his nation Estonia at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and has also held three Estonian and Nordic championship titles in the light heavyweight division. Before retiring from the sport in 2008, Thomberg trained as a member of the wrestling team for MK Juhan Märjamaa under his personal coach Henn Põlluste. Thomberg was born in Vana-Vigala, and qualified for the men's 84 kg class at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece by receiving a berth from the 2003 World Wrestling Championships in Créteil, France.
