Hemming (musician)
Candice Martello, better known by her stage name Hemming, is an American musician and singer-songwriter. Her solo career was launched via ''Make or Break: The Linda Perry Project''. Career Formerly part of the punk rock, punk duo Omar, she became a solo artist as a contestant on the VH1 reality show ''Make or Break: The Linda Perry Project'' at the suggestion of host Linda Perry. She was co-winner of the show, earning a recording contract. She released a Hemming (album), self-titled debut album in 2015. That same year, she opening act, opened for Chris Cornell on his solo tour. Personal life Candice graduated from Drexel University. Linda Perry
Linda Perry (born April 15, 1965) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer. She was the lead singer and primary songwriter of 4 Non Blondes, and has since founded two record labels and composed and produced hit songs for several other artists. They include: " Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera; " What You Waiting For?" by Gwen Stefani; and " Get the Party Started" by Pink. Perry has also contributed to albums by Adele, Alicia Keys, and Courtney Love, as well as signing and distributing James Blunt in the United States. Perry was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2015. Early life In 1965, Perry was born in Springfield, Massachusetts.
