Hemalatha
Hemalatha, often credited as Hema, is an Indian actress and dancer. She is acclaimed for her roles as Raghavi in the popular soap opera ''Kana Kaanum Kaalangal'' on STAR Vijay and as Deepa in the superhit Tamil drama serial on Sun TV ''Thendral''. She was the winner of the reality dance show ''Jodi Number One'' in Season 3 along with Michael Thangadurai. Career Hemalatha was born in Tamil family, started her career as a child actress. She made her début in films in the Rajinikanth starer and superhit '' Baasha'' and then acted in the Sarath Kumar starer '' Suryavamsam''. Her first Tamil serial was when she played the role of Baby Kaveri in Chithi. She played the role of Raghavi, a high school student, in Kana Kaanum Kaalangal and later the role of Deepa in the prime time serial Thendral ''Thendral'' () is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language soap opera that aired Monday through Friday on Sun TV. Hemalatha (19262019) was an Indian actress of Telugu cinema, of Andhra Pradesh, India. She acted in more than 100 films during the 1950s to 1976. The first movie she acted was Palletooru. She retired from movies in 1976, with ''Seethamma Santhanam'' being the film she last appeared. After retiring from movies, she was involved in Brahma Kumaris movement in Hyderabad till her death. Hemalatha Lavanam
Hemalatha Lavanam (26 February 1932 – 19 March 2008) was an Indian social reformer, writer, and atheist who protested against untouchability and the caste system. She was also a co-founder of Samskar with her husband, Lavanam. Life Hemalatha was born on 26 February 1932 at Vinukonda in Madras Presidency of British India, now in the Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh, India. She was the daughter of Telugu poet Gurram Joshua and Mirayamma and the daughter-in-law of social reformer Goparaju Ramachandra Rao and Saraswathi Gora, who were atheist social reformers and founders of the Atheist Centre in Vijayawada. Reformation of denotified tribes Through Samskar, Lavanam and Hemlatha took part in historical surrenders of dacoits in Chambal Valley to Vinobha Bhave.
