Help (British TV Series)
''Help'' is a BBC television comedy series first screened on BBC Two in 2005. Written by and starring Paul Whitehouse and Chris Langham, it concerns a psychotherapist Peter Strong (Langham) and his therapy sessions with a variety of patients, almost all of whom are played by Whitehouse. Strong, the diffident therapist, has an obsession with his receptionist Rebecca (played by Alison King) and also has regular appointments with his own therapist (who is also played by Whitehouse), the only times when the scene leaves Peter's office. Other performers are Mark Williams and Olivia Colman in cameos as patients, Alison Senior as a patient's wife, and Langham's real-life daughter Emily as a patient's precocious daughter. DVD Region Code
DVD region codes are a digital rights management technique introduced in 1997. It is designed to allow rights holders to control the international distribution of a DVD release, including its content, release date, and price, all according to the appropriate region. This is achieved by way of region-locked DVD players, which will play back only DVDs encoded to their region (plus those without any region code). Stina Ekblad
Stina Åsa Maria Ekblad (born 26 February 1954 in Solf, Ostrobothnia, Finland) is a Swedish-speaking Finnish actress. Living in Stockholm, she has appeared mostly in Swedish productions. She received a Guldbagge Award for Best Actress in 1987 for her performances in '' Amorosa'' and Ormens väg på hälleberget (''The Serpent's Way'') and was nominated again in 1996 for her performance in ''Pensionat Oskar''. ''Hjälp!'' ( sv, Help!) was a Swedish situation comedy television series, broadcast on the TV4 network. It revolved around a psychologist, Jeanette Placzycks, played by Stina Ekblad, who treated patients with a variety of problems. The series had three seasons, and it was broadcast in 2007 — 2009. According to TV4, the first season had peak viewing figures of more than 1.5 million viewers. The first season of the programme was reported to the Swedish Broadcasting Commission for treating a stuttering person as an amusing caricature in a way that ridiculed and humiliated people with the disability. The commission ruled that since the entire TV show presented exaggerated caricatures of mental issues and other disabilities, which were not intended to be taken seriously, the specific situations mentioned in the report did not violate the Swedish Radio and Television Act.
