Joseph Henabery
Joseph Henabery (January 15, 1888 – February 18, 1976) of Omaha, Nebraska, was a film actor, screenplay writer, and director in the United States. He is best known for his portrayal of Abraham Lincoln in D.W. Griffith's controversial 1915 silent historical epic ''The Birth of a Nation''. Early years Henabery was born in Omaha and raised in Los Angeles. He began acting as an amateur in California. Before he worked in films, Henabery worked for the San Pedro, Los Angeles, Salt Lake Railroad. When he was 25 years old, he became an extra for Universal Pictures. Career Henabery's acting career began in ''The Joke on Yellentown'' (1914). From 1914 to 1917 he appeared in seventeen films, including his portrayal of Lincoln in ''The Birth of a Nation''. Henabery also worked as a second-unit director on Griffith's ''Intolerance'' (1916), and supervised the filming of at least one extended sequence that appeared in the film. Helen Foster (actress)
Helen Foster (May 23, 1906 – December 25, 1982) was an American film actress. Early life and career Born in Independence, Kansas, Foster attended school in Kansas City and later attended finishing school in Florida. She began acting in 1924, appearing in comedy shorts and early Westerns. In 1929, she had a role in her first sound film ''Gold Diggers of Broadway'', and was also named a WAMPAS Baby Star that same year. In 1933, Foster starred in the exploitation film '' Road to Ruin'', a remake of the 1928 film of the same name in which Foster also starred. Following the release of ''Road to Ruin'', Foster made only eight more film appearances in mostly uncredited roles. She made her last onscreen appearance as an extra in the 1956 film ''Around the World in 80 Days''. James Bradbury Jr. (October 5, 1894 – January 21, 1936) was an American character actor in supporting roles in films of the 1920s and 1930s. Biography The son of veteran character actor James Bradbury (1857–1940), New York-born Bradbury Jr. began his career on stage as a child in ''Madame Butterfly''. Both Bradburys arrived in Hollywood around 1920, and Junior played Richard Barthelmess' rival in ''Classmates'' (1924) and ''The Drop Kick'' (1927). Other roles followed, including numerous budget westerns such as ''The Glorious Trail'' (1928), ''Cheyenne'' (1929), ''Smilin' Guns'' (1929) and ''The Cisco Kid'' (1931).
