Hello, I Must Be Going (Casualty)
"Hello, I Must Be Going" is the thirty-fourth episode of the thirtieth series of the British medical drama television series ''Casualty'', and the 995th episode of the overall series. The episode was written by Jeff Povey and directed by Steve Hughes, and premiered on BBC One on 7 May 2016. The episode features the departure of established character Zoe Hanna ( Sunetra Sarker), an ED consultant, who left the show after nine years. Sarker's departure was kept secret until transmission in order to surprise viewers. Producers were upset when Sarker announced her decision to leave, but ensured writers created a good story for the character. The episode concluded Zoe's relationship with the porter Max Walker ( Jamie Davis), which Sarker labelled as "bittersweet". It also featured the first appearance of Elle Gardner ( Jaye Griffiths), an ED consultant, who was held at knifepoint in a hostage situation during the episode. ''Casualty'' (stylised as ''CASUAL+Y'') is a British medical drama series that airs weekly on BBC One. Created by Jeremy Brock and Paul Unwin, it was first broadcast in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 6 September 1986. The original producer was Geraint Morris. Having been broadcast weekly since 1986, ''Casualty'' is the longest-running primetime medical drama series in the world. The programme is set in the fictional Holby City Hospital and focuses on the staff and patients of the hospital's Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department. Andrew Knott
Andrew Knott (born 22 November 1979) is a British actor. He played Dirtbox in ''Gavin & Stacey'', and Dickon Sowerby in the 1993 film ''The Secret Garden''. Life and career Knott was born in Salford. His first acting was done in British television and radio programmes. He was trained in the Oldham Theatre Workshop. Knott's first major film was Warner Brothers' ''The Secret Garden'' in 1993, in which he played Dickon Sowerby. He went on to play Joe Green in ''Black Beauty''. Jamie Davis (born 18 April 1981) is an English actor. He is known for playing Harley Lawson in ''Footballers' Wives'', its spin-off, '' Footballers' Wives: Extra Time'', Leon Taylor in '' Hex'' and Max Walker in ''Casualty''. Biography Davis was born and brought up in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, where he attended Carleton High School.
