The Helensvale Hornets were formed in 1991 the Helensvale Hornets currently field teams in all junior grades of the Gold Coast Rugby League. The club is based at Robert Dalley Park, Helensvale, Queensland and the club's Gold Coast Titans Ambassadors are David Mead and Beau Henry. Notable Coaches *Stewart 'Rexxy' Galvin (2013-2015) Stewart was relieved of his coaching duties after numerous indiscretions with match officials during Junior Rugby League games. One of these indiscretions involved throwing a water bottle at an On Field Referee. Helensvale is a suburb of the City of Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. In the , Helensvale had a population of 16,862 people. Geography Helensvale is bounded by the Pacific Motorway to the west, by the Coomera River to the north, by Saltwater Creek to the north-east, by Coombabah Creek and Coombabah Lake to the south-east. Saltwater Creek flows through the suburb from west ( Oxenford) to the north from where it forms the north-east boundary of the suburb. The Gold Coast Rugby League (also known as the Kevin Bycroft Cup) is a rugby league football competition based in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is under the administration of the Queensland Rugby League through the South East Queensland Division, which also administers the Brisbane and Ipswich competitions. The Gold Coast Rugby League Premiership consists of ten clubs, competing in three senior leagues; A-Grade, Reserves and Colts (under-19s). The Gold Coast Junior Rugby League was formed in 1976 and consists of seventeen clubs, competing in multiple age groups from under-7s to under-17s. The Gold Coast Titans are a professional rugby league football club, based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. David Mead (born David Moore on 4 November 1988) is a Papua New Guinean former professional rugby league footballer who last played as a er, or for the Brisbane Broncos in the NRL and Papua New Guinea at international level. Mead previously played for the Gold Coast Titans and the Broncos in the National Rugby League, and the Catalans Dragons in the Super League. The New Zealand Warriors are a professional rugby league football club based in Auckland, New Zealand that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership and is the League's only team from outside Australia. They were formed in 1995 as the Auckland Warriors, and are officially known as the One New Zealand Warriors for sponsorship reasons. Jayden Campbell (born 7 February 2000) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Gold Coast Titans in the National Rugby League (NRL). Background Campbell was born in Cronulla, Sydney, New South Wales, into a family of Indigenous Australian (Kamilaroi) and Danish descent.
