Helena Jäderblom
Helena Jäderblom (born 16 October 1958) is a Swedish jurist and civil servant. From 2012 to 2018, she was a judge at the European Court of Human Rights. Since 2018, Jäderblom is president of Sweden's Supreme Administrative Court. Born in Gothenburg, Jäderblom received a Master of Law degree from the University of Uppsala in 1983. The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR or ECtHR), also known as the Strasbourg Court, is an international court of the Council of Europe which interprets the European Convention on Human Rights. The court hears applications alleging that a contracting state has breached one or more of the human rights enumerated in the Convention or its optional protocols to which a member state is a party.
