Helena Casas Roigé (born 27 July 1988) is a track cyclist from Catalonia. She represented Spain at the 2007, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships The 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships were the World Championships for track cycling in 2015. 2015 UEC European Track Championships
The 2015 UEC European Track Championships was the sixth edition of the elite UEC European Track Championships in track cycling and took place at the Velodrome Suisse in Grenchen, Switzerland, between 14 and 18 October. The Event was organised by the European Cycling Union. All European champions are awarded the UEC European Champion jersey which may be worn by the champion throughout the year when competing in the same event at other competitions. Cycling At The 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's Team Sprint
The women's cycling team sprint at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro took place on 12 August 2016. The event was won by the Chinese pairing of Gong Jinjie and Zhong Tianshi over the Russian pairing of Daria Shmeleva and Anastasia Voynova. The defending champions, Germans Kristina Vogel and Miriam Welte, won the bronze medal. The medals were presented by Yang Yang, IOC member, China and Marian Stenina, Member of the UCI Management Committee.
