Helen Prest-Ajayi, formerly Prest-Davies, (née Prest, born 17 September 1959) is a Nigerian lawyer, writer and former beauty queen. Helen was raised in England. She attended the International School Ibadan for her advanced levels and Obafemi Awolowo University for her undergraduate studies in Law prior to her pageantry. The International School Ibadan (ISI) is located on the Campus of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria's oldest university. Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) is a federal government-owned university that is located in the ancient city of Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. The university was founded in 1961 and classes commenced in October 1962 as the University of Ife by the regional government of Western Nigeria, which was led by Samuel Ladoke Akintola. Chieftain, Chief Arthur Edward Prest (10 February 1906 – 26 September 1976) was an Itsekiri politician of biracial heritage from the Warri, Nigeria, Warri division of southern Nigeria. Life Prest was born in February 1906 to a white English people, English father from Liverpool who was a ship's captain and a colonialist, and an Itsekiri royal Nigerian people, Nigerian mother, Princess Mami Ogbe, who was the daughter of the Olu of Warri. He was an officer in the Nigerian police force, and the first Nigerian commissioned police officer. He studied law in England, and registered at the supreme court of Nigeria in 1947, prior to his nomination as a representative of the Warri district in the Western Regional House of Assembly. Miss World is the oldest existing international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. Since his death in 2000, Morley's widow, Julia Morley, has co-chaired the pageant.
