Hei (album)
''Hei'' is the debut album of the Norwegian teen duo Marcus & Martinus, winners of the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix Junior 2012. The album released on Sony Music Entertainment on 23 February 2015 and was successful, peaking at number 1 on the Norwegian Albums Chart. A special follow-up album was released nine months later on 6 November 2015 also on Sony including additional tracks. The special edition was titled ''Hei – Fan-Spesial''. Singles " To dråper vann" was released as the lead single from the album in 2012. The song has peaked to number 8 on the Norwegian Singles Chart. "Leah" was released as the second single from the album on 25 July 2013. " Du" was released as the third single from the album in 2014. " Smil" was released as the fourth single from the album in October 2014. " Plystre på deg" was released as the fourth single from the album on 17 February 2015. Marcus & Martinus (both born in Elverum, Norway 21 February 2002), occasionally known as M&M, are Norwegian dance-pop duo consisting of monozygotic twin brothers Marcus and Martinus Gunnarsen. They have released three albums: '' Hei'', ''Together'' and '' Moments''. Since winning Melodi Grand Prix Junior in 2012 they have won numerous prizes such as Spellemannprisen in 2017. Career 2012: ''Melodi Grand Prix junior'' In 2012 Marcus & Martinus were contestants on the eleventh season of ''Melodi Grand Prix Junior''. It was held at the Oslo Spektrum in Oslo, Norway, and was broadcast live by Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), hosted by Margrethe Røed and Tooji. They won the contest with the song "To dråper vann" (English: "Two Drops of Water"). Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list. VG-lista is a Norwegian record chart. It is presented weekly in the newspaper '' VG''. It is considered the primary Norwegian record chart, charting albums and singles from countries and continents around the world. The data are collected by Nielsen Soundscan International and are based on the sales in approximately 100 shops in Norway. The singles chart started as a top 10 chart in week 42 of 1958 and was expanded to a top 20 chart in week 5 of 1995, the same time the albums chart, which started as a top 20 chart in week 1 of 1967 was expanded to a top 40 chart. The Melodi Grand Prix Junior 2012 was Norway's eleventh national Melodi Grand Prix Junior for young singers aged 8 to 15. It was held in Oslo Spektrum, Oslo, Norway and broadcast live Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). It was hosted by Margrethe Røed and Tooji, the winner of Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix 2012. The winner was the duo Marcus & Martinus with the song "To dråper vann" (Norwegian for ''Two drops of water'').
