Hege Tunaal
Hege Tunaal (born 17 June 1948) is a Norwegian singer. She was born in Bærum. As a singer she reached national popularity in the 1970s, releasing albums such as ''Olje, brød og vin'' (1972) and ''Vide med vind'' (1974) and singles such as ''I Lover's Lane'' and ''Over broen'' (both 1973, charting at Norsktoppen). She won the Spellemannprisen together with Lars Klevstrand for the 1983 album ''Ola Skutvik og Mariann''. Tunaal has also performed in cabarets, theatrical plays and has worked as a vocal teacher at the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre. For the 2003 album ''Ildfluer'' she won a Gammleng Award. Bærum
Bærum () is a municipality in the Greater Oslo Region in Norway that forms an affluent suburb of Oslo on the west coast of the city. Bærum is Norway's fifth largest municipality with a population of 128,760 (2021). It is part of the electoral district and historical county of Akershus and of the newer Viken County. It is one of the oldest and biggest independent record companies in Norway today. The company represents prominent Norwegian artists, and the catalog consists of more than 35 000 tracks in all genres of music. The classic catalog is marketed through Simax Classics. ''Norsktoppen'' was a musical hit list at NRK Radio, originally playing songs exclusively by Norwegian artists. Until 1986, the songs had to be in the Norwegian language. Hartvig Kiran
Hartvig Kiran (3 November 1911 – 15 August 1978) was a Norwegian author, lyricist and composer. He was most commonly associated with his broadcasts on the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. Biography Kiran was born at Ålesund in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. His parents were Hartvig Nikolaisen Kiran (1876-1953) and Elisabeth Pettersson (1886-1967). After artium in 1931, he studied philology at the University of Oslo. In 1938, he took employment in the news room of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). Following the Occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany, Kiran went into exile to Great Britain from 1941 to 1945. He worked as a newscaster for the Norwegian section of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). After the liberation of Norway in 1945, he continued at NRK and in 1958 he became head of NRK's Information Department. Kiran was brought in to introduce culture to listeners. The Gammleng Award ( no, Gammleng-prisen) is a Norwegian culture award created by ''The Fund for Performing Artists'' in 1982, 25 years after the fund was established in 1957. The award's official name is the ''Rolf Gammleng award to performing artists'' (). It's awarded to artists who have in a meritorious way contributed on recordings, stage performances, or concerts.
