Hedwig Elisabeth Charlotte of Holstein-Gottorp ( sv, Hedvig Elisabet Charlotta; 22 March 1759 – 20 June 1818) was Queen of Sweden and Norway as the consort of King Charles XIII and II. She was also a famed diarist, memoirist and wit. She is known by her full pen name (above), though her official name as queen was Charlotte (''Charlotta''). She was born in Eutin the daughter of Duke Frederick August I of Holstein-Gottorp and Princess Ulrike Friederike Wilhelmine of Hesse-Kassel. She grew up in Eutin and married her cousin Charles, Duke of Södermanland, in Stockholm on 7 July 1774 when she was fifteen years old. The marriage was arranged by King Gustav III to provide the throne of Sweden with an heir. Hedvig Ulrika Taube (31 October 1714 – 11 February 1744), also Countess von Hessenstein was a Swedish courtier and countess, a Holy Roman countess of the Empire, and royal mistress to king Frederick I of Sweden from 1731 to 1744. She is regarded as one of only two official royal mistresses in Swedish history. Early life Hedvig Taube was one of 9 children of Count Edvard Didrik Taube (1681-1751) and Christina Maria Falkenberg (1686-1753). Hedvig Malina ( sk, Hedviga Malinová) (born 1983) is an ethnic Hungarian woman from Horné Mýto ( hu, Felsővámos), Slovakia, whose situation gained publicity in 2006 for claiming that she was physically assaulted in a hate crime incident. The incident caused a media sensation and her case has ever since represented a highly controversial and debated issue of Hungary-Slovakia relations. On 4 April 2014, Slovak attorney general charged Malina with perjury. If found guilty, she would face up to 3 years in prison. Andrej Kiska, the president of Slovakia, said that he would grant Malina pardon in case she is convicted. Hedvig Sophia Augusta of Sweden (26 June 1681 – 22 December 1708), Duchess of Holstein-Gottorp, was the eldest child of Charles XI of Sweden and Ulrike Eleonore of Denmark. Hedvig Charlotta Nordenflycht ( Stockholm, Sweden, 28 November 1718 – Stockholm, Sweden, 29 June 1763) was a Swedish poet, feminist and salon hostess. Biography She was the youngest of five children of the wealthy official Anders Andersson Nordbohm (1675–1734) and Christina Rosin. Her father was ennobled as Nordenflycht in 1727. Hedvig "Hedda" Eleonora von Fersen (2 July 1753 – 8 November 1792, in Pisa) was a Swedish noble, lady in waiting to the Swedish queen, Sophia Magdalena of Denmark.
