Heby Municipality
Heby Municipality (''Heby kommun'') is a municipality in Uppsala County in east central Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Heby. The first municipality with the name ''Heby'' was created in 1952, during the first of the two nationwide municipal reforms in Sweden, through the amalgamation of three original units in Västmanland County. The name was taken from the settlement Heby, which had been a ''municipalsamhälle'' (a kind of borough) since 1887. In 1971 three more former entities were added. Geography The Dalälven River forms Heby's northern border. The municipality also has substantial forests with animals such as elk, deer, fox, bear and lynx. Bear
Bears are carnivoran mammals of the family Ursidae. They are classified as caniforms, or doglike carnivorans. Although only eight species of bears are extant, they are widespread, appearing in a wide variety of habitats throughout the Northern Hemisphere and partially in the Southern Hemisphere. The present municipality consists of nearly forty original local government units. Uppsala Municipality (''Uppsala kommun'') is a municipality in Uppsala County in east central Sweden. Uppsala has a population of 211,411 (2016-06-30). Its seat is located in the university city of Uppsala. Uppsala Municipality was created through amalgamations taking place during the late sixties and the early seventies. Gävleborg County
Gävleborg County ( sv, Gävleborgs län) is a county or '' län'' on the Baltic Sea coast of Sweden. It borders the counties of Uppsala, Västmanland, Dalarna, Jämtland and Västernorrland. The capital is Gävle. Gävle Municipality (''Gävle kommun'') is a municipality in east central Sweden. The municipal seat is located in the Stad (city) of Gävle. Geographically the municipality is situated north of the mouth of the river Dalälven and is the southernmost municipality of the historical land of Norrland. The present municipality was created in 1971, when the ''City of Gävle'' was amalgamated with four surrounding rural municipalities. Morgongåva
Morgongåva is a urban areas of Sweden, locality situated in Heby Municipality, Uppsala County, Sweden with 1,409 inhabitants in 2010. Town name The town name is the same as that of the oldest known name for a cottage (est. 1667) in the area. The cottage's name also contains the word "Morgongåva" (dower, literally "morning gift"). The reason why the cottage was called so is not entirely clear, but according to some, the name choice came about due to a love triangle. During the 17th century, the Patron of Molnebo, just outside Morgongåva, had an affair with one of his maids. She became pregnant and the Patron was afraid that his wife would find out about the relationship. He "bought" one of his farmhands who would provide for the maid and her future child. Once the maid servant and the farmhand were married, they received a cottage as a dower, or a "morning gift", hence the name.
