FC Hebar ( bg, Футболен клуб Хебър) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Pazardzhik. The club currently competes in the First League, the first tier of the Bulgarian football league system. Founded in 1918, Hebar hss played at their current home ground, Georgi Benkovski Stadium, since 1989. Hebar has played a total of four seasons in the top level of Bulgarian football, most recently in 2022–23. In 2001, despite finishing ninth in the A Group that season, the owners of the club moved it to Petrich, becoming Belasitsa Petrich. Fans from Pazardzhik re-founded the club the same year, starting from the amateur levels. For the majority of its history, the club has played either in the second or third levels of the football pyramid. Stadion Georgi Benkovski
Stadion Georgi Benkovski ( bg, Стадион "Георги Бенковски") is a multi-use stadium in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FC Hebar Pazardzhik. The stadium holds around 13 thousand people. History The fourth pitch was completed in 1989. It was then called the Septemvri Stadium and had a seating capacity of 12,000. It was inaugurated that year on 26 March with the match FC Hebar - FC Yantra 1:0, attended by 15 000 spectators. On 30 July 1991 the stadium was renamed "Georgi Benkovski", whose name it still bears today. This is the current stadium of FC Hebar. The three seasons in ''A'' Football Group were played in this stadium. Belovo ( bg, Белово ) is a town in South West Bulgaria. It is the seat of Belovo Municipality. It is located in Pazardzhik Province, where the Yadenitza flows into the Maritsa river, at the foot of three mountain ranges (Rila, Rhodopes and Sredna Gora), on the western end of the Thracian Plain. Nikolay Mitov
Nikolay Angelov Mitov (born 18 March 1972) is a Bulgarian former footballer and a former manager of Hebar Pazardzhik. Club career Mitov has played for Bulgarian teams - Hebar, Minyor and Levski, and German teams - Magdeburg and Holstein Kiel. With Levski he has played in 7 matches and has scored one goal. Managerial career From 12 April 2013 he is the coach of Levski Sofia after replacing Ilian Iliev. Before that he was assistant-manager in the team. The 2000–01 A Group was the 53rd season of the A Football Group, the top Bulgarian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1948. The league was contested by the top 12 teams from the 1999–2000 season as well as Cherno More Varna and Hebar Pazardzhik, who joined as the promoted clubs from the 1999–2000 B Group. Georgi Benkovski ( bg, Георги Бенковски) (1843 – 12 May 1876) was the pseudonym of Gavril Gruev Hlatev (Гаврил Груев Хлътев), a Bulgarian revolutionary and leading figure in the organization and direction of the Bulgarian anti-Ottoman Empire, Ottoman April Uprising of 1876 and apostle of its 4th Revolutionary District.
