Heather Willens
Heather Willens (born October 11, 1971) is an American former professional tennis player. Willens was raised in California and attended Palisades High School, then continued a family tradition by joining Stanford University. She is the daughter of Wimbledon quarter-finalist Jane Albert Willens and granddaughter of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Frankie Albert, both of whom played for Stanford in their respective sports. A three-time All-American, she amassed a 91–14 record in dual singles, during her time at Stanford from 1990 to 1993. On the professional tour, Willens reached a best singles ranking of 379 in the world while competing in the occasional tournament. ITF Women's Circuit
The ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, previously known as the ITF Women's Circuit, is a series of professional tennis tournaments run by the International Tennis Federation for female professional tennis players. History It serves as a developmental circuit for the WTA Tour, which is run by the independent Women's Tennis Association (WTA). There are several hundred ITF Women's Circuit tournaments each year, spread across all six inhabited continents, with prize money ranging from US$15,000 to US$100,000. Players who succeed on the ITF Women's Circuit earn sufficient points to be eligible for qualifying draw or main draw entry to WTA tournaments. Jeri Ingram (born December 11, 1970) is an American former professional tennis player. Biography Ingram was born in Washington DC and went to school in Montgomery County, Maryland. In her four-year public high school tennis career she remained unbeaten, with a 106–0 record. She played college tennis for the University of Maryland and was the ACC champion at No. 1 singles in 1989. As a professional player, Ingram's career included main draw appearances at the 1989 Australian Open and 1993 US Open. Laxmi Poruri-Madan (born November 9, 1972) is a retired American professional tennis player and the first Indian-American female to play professional tennis on the WTA Tour in the modern era. Poruri was born in Guntur, India and raised in Central California where, from a very young age, she was known as a tennis prodigy. In 1986, she won the Orange Bowl, beating Monica Seles in the final. At age 15, she played her first US Open where she lost to Katerina Maleeva in the 2nd round.
