Heather Agyepong
Heather Akosua Agyepong is a British photographer, visual artist, performer and actor, living in London. Her work is held in the collection of Mead Art Museum. Early life and education Agyepong was born and raised in London and is of Ghanaian heritage. She earned a National Diploma in Performing Arts from City of Westminster College; a BSc in Applied Psychology from the University of Kent; and an MA in Photography & Urban Cultures from Goldsmiths, University of London. Work In ''Wish You Were Here'', commissioned by the Hyman Collection, Agyepong channels the American vaudeville performer Aida Overton Walker, by posing for a series of fake postcards. The work addresses physical and mental wellbeing. Mead Art Museum
Mead Art Museum houses the fine art collection of Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts. Opened in 1949, the building is named after architect William Rutherford Mead (class of 1867), of the prestigious architectural firm McKim, Mead & White. His wife, Olga Kilyeni Mead, left her entire estate to Amherst College. The museum, a member of Museums10, is free and open to the public. Pilot Theatre
Pilot Theatre is an Arts Council England funded Theatre Company based in York, England. It was founded in by students from Bretton Hall College in Wakefield. The company was based in Wakefield and Castleford before moving to York in 2001. History The company is now based at York Guildhall. It tours work in the UK and internationally. As of July 2016, the company's artistic direction is led by Esther Richardson. The previous artistic director, Marcus Romer, who has written, directed, and shaped the identity of the company since 1995, recently moved on to establish Arts Beacon. Ovalhouse, formerly called Oval House Theatre, was an Off-West End theatre in the London Borough of Lambeth, located at 52–54 Kennington Oval, London, SE11 5SW. Rich Mix is a charity that offers cinema and cross-arts centre that is located in the East End of London, located in Shoreditch in the Borough of Tower Hamlets, East London, England. Once a vast leather factory, 62,000-square-foot building was transformed into a multi-arts venue, which has offered free arts and culture events to over 35,000 people in 2014–2015. The Kiln Theatre (formerly the Tricycle Theatre) is a theatre located in Kilburn, in the London Borough of Brent, England.
