"Headline News" is a song by British band Everyday People, which was released in 1990 as the lead single from their only studio album '' You Wash... I'll Dry''. It was written by Shaun Ward and Desi Campbell, and produced by Stewart Levine. "Headline News" reached No. 99 on the UK Singles Chart. Critical reception On its release, Chris Wells of ''New Musical Express'' wrote: "See for once here we are dealing with a trio of musicians whose main concern show well they can write, perform and record a song based purely on musical talent. The GfK Entertainment charts are the official music charts in Germany and are gathered and published by GfK Entertainment (formerly Media Control and Media Control GfK International), a subsidiary of GfK, on behalf of Bundesverband Musikindustrie. GfK Entertainment is the provider of weekly Top 100 single and album charts, as well as various other chart formats for genres like compilations, jazz, classical music, schlager, hip hop, dance, comedy, and music videos. Following a lawsuit in March 2014 by Media Control AG, Media Control® GfK International had to change its name. The Dutch Top 40 ( nl, Nederlandse Top 40) is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. It remained "The Veronica Top 40" until 1974, when the station was forced to stop broadcasting. Joost den Draaijer initiated the Top 40 in the Netherlands. The show currently airs on Fridays from 2 to 6 PM on Qmusic. ''CD Review'' (formerly known as ''Digital Audio'' and ''Digital Audio and Compact Disc Review'') is a discontinued American monthly magazine that specialized in reviewing albums and audio electronics, especially compact discs. The magazine was founded by publisher Wayne Green. The magazine lasted from September 1984 to May 1996.
