''Headcleaner'' is a sixteen track compilation album from Australian alternative rockers, the Lime Spiders, issued in 1988 through Virgin Records. It Compiled all of Lime Spiders singles and B-Sides up to that point in time, Together in a single package.It was initially released on music cassette before being appearing on vinyl LP (1989) and CD formats. Lime Spiders
Lime Spiders were an Australian punk rock band which formed in 1979 with Mick Blood on lead vocals. He was later joined by Tony Bambach on bass guitar, Gerard Corben on guitar, Richard Lawson on drums, and David Sparks on guitar. Their debut studio album, ''The Cave Comes Alive!'' was released in June 1987 and reached the top 60 on the Kent Music Report Albums Chart. Their most successful single, "Weirdo Libido", was released in January that year and reached the top 50 on the related Kent Music Report Singles Chart. In April its music video was the first ever shown on Australian Broadcasting Corporation TV music series '' rage''. The track was used on the 1988 feature film ''Young Einstein''s soundtrack. The Haunted (Canadian Band)
The Haunted were a Canadian garage rock band from Montreal, Quebec. The band was formed by Jurgen Peter (guitar) in 1965, and went on to release several records before finally disbanding in 1971. They were among the first Canadian bands to achieve a level of success in their musical genre. History In 1965, Jurgen Peter joined up with Bob Burgess (vocals), Pierre Faubert (lead guitar), Glenn Holmes (bass), and Peter Symes (drums) to form The Haunted. Besides Jurgen Peter, the other constant band member through most of its six-year history was Al Birmingham. Arthur Taylor Lee (born Arthur Porter Taylor; March 7, 1945 – August 3, 2006) was an American singer-songwriter who rose to fame as the leader of the Los Angeles rock band Love. Love's 1967 album ''Forever Changes'' was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and it is part of the National Recording Registry. Early years Lee was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on March 7, 1945, in John Gaston Hospital, to Agnes (née Porter), a school teacher, and Chester Taylor, a local jazz musician and cornet player. As an only child, Lee was known by the nickname "Po", short for Porter, and was looked after by additional family members so his mother could proceed with her teaching career. With his father being his first connection with a musician, Lee was fascinated by music at a young age. Love is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965. Led by frontman and primary songwriter Arthur Lee, they were one of the first racially diverse American rock bands. Their sound incorporated an eclectic range of styles including garage, folk-rock, blues, jazz, and psychedelia. While finding only modest success on the music charts, peaking in 1966 with their Top 40 hit "7 and 7 Is", Love would come to be praised by critics as their third album, ''Forever Changes'' (1967), became generally regarded as one of the best albums of the 1960s. The band's classic lineup is considered to consist of frontman Lee, guitarist/singer Bryan MacLean, bassist Ken Forssi, guitarist Johnny Echols, and drummer Alban "Snoopy" Pfisterer. The Remains (band)
The Remains (sometimes referred to as "Barry and the Remains") were a mid-1960s American garage rock group from Boston, Massachusetts, led by Barry Tashian. Although the Remains never achieved national success, they were very popular in New England, and were one of the opening acts on the Beatles' final US tour in 1966. The Remains broke up in 1966, but their music eventually attracted a strong international cult following. They began performing and recording again in the late 1990s, and have continued to play regularly since then. St Leonards is a suburb on the lower North Shore of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia.
