''He Will Have His Way'' is a compilation album featuring male Australian and New Zealand musicians performing songs written by Neil Finn and Tim Finn (The Finn Brothers), who are best known as members of Split Enz and Crowded House. It was released on 12 November 2010 and is a sequel to ''She Will Have Her Way'', a 2005 album featuring female Australian and New Zealand musicians. The two albums were later released together with extra tracks as the double CD '' They Will Have Their Way''. Background The album's title is a masculine adaptation of ''She Will Have Her Way'', which in turn took its name from Neil Finn's single, "She Will Have Her Way", from his album '' Try Whistling This''. Chart performance On 21 November 2010, the album debuted at number 5 on the Australian Albums Chart.

''Try Whistling This'' is the debut solo album released in 1998 by New Zealand singer/songwriter Neil Finn. The Japanese version of the album has a bonus track called "Tokyo", which also appears on the UK release of the single "Sinner". Special editions of the Australian CD contained a bonus CD with six extra tracks which were used as the B-sides for the singles released from the album. The album topped the charts in Australia and New Zealand, and also reached the top five of the UK Albums Chart. Message To My Girl
"Message to My Girl" is a song by New Zealand art rock group Split Enz. It was released in January 1984 as the second single from their eighth studio album '' Conflicting Emotions''. In 2001 the song was voted by members of APRA as the 36th best New Zealand song of the 20th century. During the 2006 Split Enz tour, Neil dedicated the song to his wife Sharon. Paul Dempsey
Paul Anthony Dempsey (born 25 May 1976) is an Australian musician. He is best known as the lead singer, guitarist and principal lyricist of rock group Something for Kate. Dempsey released his debut solo album, '' Everything Is True'', on 20 August 2009, which peaked at No. 5 on the ARIA Albums Chart. He has also produced and co-written albums for other artists, including Mosman Alder. Glenn Anthony Richards (born 29 December 1973) is an Australian musician, best known as the mainstay guitarist singer-songwriter for the Australian rock band Augie March. Early life Richards was born in Shepparton, Victoria on 29 December 1973. Richards saved up enough money to buy his first guitar by working long hours on the docks in Fremantle, Western Australia. "Distant Sun" is a song by New Zealand and Australian band Crowded House. It was the first single released from the group's fourth studio album, ''Together Alone'' (1993).
