Dimension Zero (Swedish Band)
Dimension Zero is a melodic death metal band based in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was formed in 1995 as a side project by In Flames' former guitarists Jesper Strömblad and Glenn Ljungström. The former Marduk drummer and vocalist Jocke Gothberg joined later on vocals, as well as Hans Nilsson (ex- Liers in Wait, Diabolique, Crystal Age) on drums. The band released ''Penetrations from the Lost World'' in 1997 before splitting up the following year. They reformed in 2000, and later recorded ''Silent Night Fever'' and '' This Is Hell''. Tours have been rare due to members' other musical commitments. Musically, they have been described as strictly old-school Swedish death metal in the range of At the Gates, Unleashed and Defleshed. Hans Nilsson (musician)
Hans "Hasse" Nilsson (born 22 December 1972) is a Swedish current drummer for the band Dimension Zero. His experience within the Swedish metal scene goes back 17 years, and has included many of its luminaries; '' Liers in Wait'', with Kristian Wåhlin; ''Luciferion'', an early band of Dark Tranquillity's Michael Nicklasson; and ''Crystal Age'', consisting of Oscar Dronjak (HammerFall, ex-Ceremonial Oath) and Fredrik Larsson (ex-HammerFall). Dimension Zero features former In Flames guitarist Jesper Strömblad, also formerly of Ceremonial Oath and HammerFall. Nilsson's style generally sways within the "blastbeat/double bass" tempo that is typical of death metal. Daniel Antonsson is a musician and songwriter from Gothenburg, Sweden, formerly playing guitar in Dimension Zero. He is also the former bassist for Dark Tranquillity, playing on the album '' We Are the Void'', and former guitarist for Soilwork, recording with them on their album ''Sworn to a Great Divide''. Clas Håkan Jesper Strömblad (born 28 November 1972) is a Swedish musician who is the guitarist of the bands The Halo Effect, Dimension Zero and Cyhra, and formerly of In Flames and The Resistance. He is best known as the founder and former guitarist/drummer/keyboardist of the pioneering melodic death metal band In Flames, guitarist of the band Sinergy, bassist of Ceremonial Oath and drummer of HammerFall. ''When the Robbers Came to Cardamom Town'' ( no, Folk og røvere i Kardemomme by) is a 1955 Norwegian children's book written and illustrated by Thorbjørn Egner, which tells the story of Kardemomme by (Cardamom Town). Thorbjørn Egner (12 December 1912 – 24 December 1990) was a Norway, Norwegian playwright, songwriter and illustrator known principally for his books, plays and musicals for children. He is principally associated with his narratives for children including ''Karius og Baktus'' (1949) and ''People and Robbers of Cardemon Town, Folk og røvere i Kardemomme by '' (1955). Biography He grew up in the working-class neighbourhood Kampen, Norway, Kampen in Oslo, Norway. His parents were Magnus Egner (1872–1952) and Anna Hansen (1874–1957).
